Check coverage along your route
The FCC broadband map lets you compare provider-reported mobile coverage by location. Check the networks listed for your plan against the places you will visit; the map is not a guarantee of service.
Data for maps, uploads and laptop work
Use your recent daily mobile-data total as a starting point, then multiply by your trip length. Add any hotspot use and photo uploads you normally do over Wi-Fi. Video, backups and laptop updates can quickly use a small allowance.
If the plan supports hotspot, every connected device shares its data. Choose a validity period that covers your whole trip; a larger allowance does not automatically last longer.

Networks in United States
Country-only offers list AT&T, Verizon. The available networks can differ by plan.
A listed network does not guarantee signal everywhere or a particular speed. Check the exact plan and your travel location.
When does the plan start?
Validity starts on first connection to a supported network.
Activate within 180 days of purchase. This is separate from the plan’s 7, 10, 15, 30, 90, 180-day validity options.
If a regional plan includes your home country, connecting there can start its validity before departure.
Calls, messages and hotspot
These are data-only travel eSIMs. No phone number or standard calls and SMS are included. Internet calling and messaging apps use the data allowance.
The listed plans support hotspot. A laptop or another phone shares the same allowance.
One eSIM is for one device. Hotspot shares that device’s connection; it does not install the same eSIM on everyone’s phone.
Install and manage your eSIM
Use an unlocked, eSIM-compatible phone. Installation options include a QR code, a supported device install link and manual details on your order page. Installation instructions are also sent by email. Use Wi-Fi to install.
